Teero pricing
Teero charges a 12% service fee on temp hygienist shifts and nothing for permanent hires, with no subscription, contract or minimum for staffing. Insurance Posting & Aging is 2% of insurance collections (with volume discounts) and an $800 monthly minimum. Insurance Verification is an add-on to Posting & Aging at $5 per benefits breakdown, with eligibility checks free, and falls under the same $800 minimum.
Hygienist staffing
What you pay: the hygienist’s hourly rate plus a 12% Teero service fee, billed after the shift is worked.

Worked example: a $55/hr hygienist for 8 hours = $440 pay + $52.80 Teero fee (12%) + $35–$53 employer payroll costs (8–12%, by state) = $528–$546 all-in, or about $66–$68/hr. A 1099 platform charging 22.5% bills $539 for the same shift, roughly the same money, but there the hygienist is a contractor and the compliance risk sits with your office.
Put plainly: your all-in cost is typically 20–24% above the hygienist’s hourly rate. 12% is Teero’s fee; the rest is the same payroll tax and insurance your practice already pays on its own W-2 hygienists.

Are there setup or onboarding fees?
Not for staffing. For Insurance Posting & Aging, the onboarding fee varies by practice.
Can I buy insurance verification on its own?
No. Insurance Verification is an add-on to Insurance Posting & Aging, and both fall under one $800 monthly minimum.
When am I billed for a shift?
After the shift is completed, by card or ACH.
Do I pay if a hygienist cancels?
No. If Teero can't fill the shift you pay nothing.
What happens if I cancel a shift inside 24 hours?
You are charged for the full scheduled shift, which goes to the hygienist for the time they held for you. Cancelling 24 hours or more before the start time is free.
