Outsource aging claims follow-up
Teero follows up on aging dental insurance claims as part of Insurance Posting & Aging, including claims over 30 days old, denials, secondary claims and appeals, posted through a PMS connection. Teero charges 2% of insurance collections with an $800 monthly minimum, with 12-month and month-to-month options available, and claim submission stays with the office.
How aging-claims follow-up works

| 1 | Start with claims over 30 days. Pull the aging report and sort open insurance claims by payer and by why they are still open: no reply, a denial, a secondary not sent, or a payment that looks short. |
| 2 | Follow up with the payer. Use the payer portal or a phone call, and write the status on the claim so the next pass does not start over. |
| 3 | Clear denials and send secondaries. Correct and resubmit a denial you can fix. Appeal the ones you cannot, before the payer deadline. When the primary pays, send the secondary claim. |
| 4 | Keep posting every business day. New EOBs, ERAs, checks and virtual card payments still have to be posted. The aging report shrinks only if new claims do not join it. |
