Pembroke office
LuxeSmile Dentistry is an independent practice with two offices in Massachusetts, in Pembroke and Marshfield. The Pembroke office runs a full hygiene schedule: eight patients a day Tuesday through Thursday, and five on Fridays.
The problem
In the first week of June, Practice Manager Carrie Rubbicco got an email from one of her hygienists. She was going on leave for three months, starting that day.

Carrie had tried another staffing app before and never liked it: “I feel like I never got a response, so I would end up having to cancel the day.”
The switch
A Teero packet had just come in the mail. Carrie called the number on it, set up her account the same day and posted every day she needed covered for the summer. Three days after that first call, a Teero hygienist was seeing her patients.
She kept Instant Book on, so most shifts were confirmed without her having to approve each one. She saved the hygienists she liked as favorites, and a small group of regulars ended up working most of her days.

The results
From June into October, Teero hygienists worked 24 days at the Pembroke office, about 190 hours of hygiene. That’s roughly 180 patient appointments that stayed on the books instead of being rescheduled.
Carrie also found a permanent hire along the way. Every Teero shift works like a paid working interview, and there’s no placement fee when an office hires a hygienist it met through Teero.
