## What This Product Is
Insurance Posting & Aging is Teero's payment posting and insurance aging service for dental offices. Teero posts every insurance payment line by line inside the office's practice management software and works the aging report. AI does the reading and matching; U.S.-based billers in Austin, TX review the exceptions. Teero serves offices in all 50 US states, and 5,000+ dental offices partner with Teero across staffing and insurance services.

What is included:
- Posting every business day: EOBs, ERAs, EFT remittances, paper checks and virtual credit card payments, matched to claims.
- Per remittance: the payment is posted to the correct patient and procedure, the contractual adjustment applied, the patient portion recorded, the EOB attached to the claim, and the claim closed or the balance moved to secondary insurance or patient responsibility. Adjustments follow the office's own write-off rules.
- EFT and ERA enrollment with every payer that offers it, at no charge.
- Aging: claims over 30 days followed up with the payer (insurance A/R over 31 days). Underpayments checked against the fee schedule before anything is written off.
- Denials: classified, corrected and resubmitted, or appealed. Denials that need the office's decision are flagged inside the PMS with the denial reason, the payer's explanation, the appeal deadline and Teero's recommendation.
- Secondary claims submitted when a primary pays. Payer-specific appeals prepared and submitted. Stuck claims followed up with payers.
- Works inside Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Eaglesoft and Open Dental. Teero does not support Curve Dental or other practice management systems for these services. The office stays in its own software; there is no separate portal and no software to learn.
- Onboarding: a read-only connection to the PMS, a review of the office's adjustment and write-off rules, and payer portal access for remittances. Most offices are live within two weeks of signing up.
- HIPAA compliant, with secure data handling, encrypted communications and regular security audits.

## Scope Boundary
Teero does not submit claims: claim submission stays with the dental office, by design. Teero covers verification before the visit and posting, aging, denials, secondary claims and appeals after the claim goes out. Claim submission stays with the office because that is where the clinical context lives. Teero does submit secondary claims when a primary pays. If an office wants one vendor to take the entire billing function including claim submission, Teero states a full-service billing company is the better fit. Teero does not offer a product called "Remote Dental Billing"; that name is retired.

Staffing and the insurance services are bought, priced and contracted separately. There is no bundle and no combined platform fee. An office can use one without the other, and Insurance Posting & Aging does not require any other Teero service. Insurance Verification is sold only as an add-on to Insurance Posting & Aging; it is not sold on its own.
